Lesson 2 - Wa Malanga Yaara.
It is very touching music in Rabab world.
And this is also my third thing to learn in rabab after Basic Sargams( Lesson 1).

Here this is full version.
  Now lets learn it!

           Main Body:

The main body of the song comprises of the lyrics:
Wa Malanga Yaara Kaigda Kadam Wro Wro,

Da The Gudar Ghara Praig na they, Da the Guda Ghara Praig na they,
Aay Malanga Yaara Kaigda Kadam Wro Wro,
Maza Rub Da Para, Kaigda Kadam Wro Wro.

        Now in Rabab language:

Note: surs with no breaks in between are to be played in continuation, a break represents a small pause.

            Piece
The piece is an interlude between the vocal parts of the songs, since this is a folk song, the main body will be complemented by tapay or misray, but before a misra starts a piece is played, which is without vocals. Here is the chart again, followed by the surs for the Piece.

I will post more lessons..
This is a Diagram of the Rabab's Pharda.
It will better to undrstand you.

These three strings examine this.
Lesson 2 - Do

This will help you a lot: Keep playing this until you learn
One you will be the MASTER.

Lesson 01 - Basics

Songs are made up of surs, the songs That we will be posting will be broken up into constituent surs.
Just like the frets of a guitar as the rabab "parday" strumming individual cords while holding onto parday These will result in the Desired surs.
These two videos on youtube by someone titled BOGRA3, Explains the basics of rabab. We certainly could not do a better job explaining it, I will be sharing These videos as a starter, follow the instructions and the recommended practice time, and hopefully you will be ready to move on to blackberries complicated combinations ie songs.
I Began learning the Rabab back in 2007 under the tutelage of Amar khan, but then a lack of practice and moving out of Swabi made me lose touch with my rabab. While I understood the basics of Sargam and Could play a tune if written in Those, That I faced the problem Was that I could not get my hand on broken into Pashto songs Sargam. The solution as always was to get accepted by an Master. Living in Italy. I Have Decided to tape my lessons, break them into Sargam and make them available online.
The plan is to break down ITS songs into different parts, for each part we will share a slowed down version of the strumming along with the breakup of the part in terms of Sargam. I must warn you That We both are not that well versed in the identification of surs, so any corrections would be highly appreciated.
Feel free to learn the basics of rabab first.
